The main galleries of the Bard Graduate Center at 18 West 86th Street is in a kind of “hats are us” state of mind. An extensive—if a little quirky—exhibition curated by milliner-to-the-stars Stephen Jones, is well worth a trip to the BGC. Among the more than 250 hats, is a replica of Jones’ first atelier, in which you can see a hat conformator and an outline of Princess Di’s head.
